Join us for an extraordinary bluegrass event as we celebrate the Carter Family Fold’s 50th Anniversary! The sounds of traditional bluegrass and country music will fill the air at this iconic venue located at the foot of Clinch Mountain in Hiltons, Virginia. Headlining the celebration are Grand Ole Opry members and GRAMMY Award winners Jamie Dailey & Darrin Vincent, alongside the GRAMMY Award-winning Steep Canyon Rangers. Additional performances by the Whitetop Mountain Band, Leftover Biscuits, and more will make this a day to remember.

The Carter Family Fold is not just a music venue; it is a living tribute to the first family of country music. Situated on the original Carter Family homestead in Poor Valley, Scott County, the Fold continues to echo the legacy of the legendary Carter Family, pioneers of American country music since the late 1920s, continually dedicated to traditional country, bluegrass, and folk music. Visitors can also explore the Carter Family Museum, which houses personal items, instruments, photographs, and memorabilia of the Carter Family. Just a short walk away is the restored cabin and birthplace of A.P. Carter, offering a glimpse into the history and heritage of this influential musical family.

This celebration is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of country music while enjoying performances by some of the best in the genre. Festival is from 12-10pm. Tour time will be adjusted when show lineup is released. This will not be a 10 hour tour day for Globe Treks. Please tell us who you want to see at time of booking.
